For over 85 years, Green Bay Packaging has operated as a full- service packaging company. When they opted to expand their facilities, they turned to Collins for design-build electrical services.
The expansion consisted of 44,000 square feet of heated storage and 47,000 square feet of production space, built to house new, state-of-the-art production equipment. To accommodate the expansion, Collins relocated the existing Xcel transformer, added a second service to the new area, and installed energy-efficient LED lighting with integrated dimming controls.
Collins coordinated with management and local utilities to complete all work with minimal impact to multi-shift production lines that operated six days per week throughout construction.
