In 2018, the Wilf family­—owners of the Minnesota Vikings—set out to build 240 Park Avenue, a 17-story, 204-unit apartment tower near U.S. Bank Stadium. To oversee this 411,000-square-foot development, the Wilfs engaged Kraus-Anderson, who in turn hired Collins as its electrical partner.  

Collins worked with architects and engineers prior to construction to develop electrical solutions that were both cost efficient and code compliant for multi-family high-rises. During construction, all of the building’s lighting and power systems were installed by Collins—even the decorative LEDs on the top of the 17th floor, some 200 feet in the sky. Collins also installed many of the high-rise’s technology systems, including access control and CCTV. 240 Park Avenue opened to the public in February of 2021.
