Located in downtown Minneapolis, Moment is a high-rise apartment tower featuring 222 smart home units, 15,000 square feet of retail space, and a variety of amenities. Selected as the electrical contractor for the project, Collins provided preconstruction and design-build services for all lighting and power, as well as technology systems including network infrastructure wiring, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, audio/visual, and distributed antenna systems.

Unique components of the project included the building’s 10-story, post-tension design and the need to accommodate Moment’s shared driving court, underground parking garage, and skyway connection—all of which are shared with Thrivent Financial. Collins worked alongside the general contractor in addressing these challenges—and ultimately bringing the Moment project to life.
