REVITALIZING HISTORIC DOWNTOWN LIVING

Collins served as the electrical contractor for the historic office-to-residential conversion of Landmark Tower in downtown St. Paul. The 25-story redevelopment transformed a nationally recognized historic building into 187 luxury apartments while preserving its historic character and supporting the city’s vision for a vibrant residential downtown.

To support the building’s new residential use, Collins completed a comprehensive electrical system upgrade, including new power distribution, individual unit metering, energy-efficient LED lighting, and a design-build fire alarm and life safety system. The project also included electrical infrastructure supporting rooftop and lounge spaces, fitness facilities, coworking areas, and fully equipped apartment units.

The redevelopment achieved LEED Silver certification, with upgraded electrical systems contributing to improved energy efficiency and long-term building performance.
