The expansive effort began in the fall of 2020 with the demolition and rebuilding of Tower 11 followed by work on Tower 12 in the fall of 2021. For both towers, Collins provided design and installation services for:

• cable tray/motor feeder raceways
• instrumentation and communications systems
• GFCI receptacles and lighting protection system
• grounding and power to nine 200hp fan motors
• vibration switches and motor heaters
• lighting for tower deck and stairwells

Committed to the success of the project, Collins utilized the same foreman and much of the same crew for both cooling towers. This increased productivity and helped Collins complete the project ahead of schedule and under budget.
