Located on the second floor of the Moment apartment complex, the Firefighters for Healing Transitional Healing Center is an impressive 15,000-square-foot space consisting of twelve “home-away-from-home” suites, three offices, a game room and access to all of Moment’s amenities. The suites house firefighters, first responders, and burn victims and their families while they heal from burns and other on-the-job injuries.

Selected as the electrical contractor for the project, Collins provided preconstruction and design-build services for all lighting and power distribution, as well as technology systems including network infrastructure wiring, fire alarm, access control, video surveillance, audio/visual, and distributed antenna systems. Collins was pleased to donate a portion of the technology that was installed in this important facility.
