Every year Collins’ own Linda Mulhern volunteers her time at Camp RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Award), where 100 high school students have the opportunity to make new friends while developing leadership and communication skills. Linda and the other volunteers spend five days at the camp with students who are given challenging scenarios to solve as a team. Students learn to overcome fears by participating in ropes courses and learn how to resolve conflicts too. For Linda, the most rewarding part of Camp RYLA is hearing positive feedback from the students. Our thanks to Linda for helping provide these students with an opportunity they’re sure to remember!

Camp RYLA is an intensive leadership experience organized by local Rotary Clubs. Students come to stretch the boundaries of their comfort zones, build trust, friendships and develop leadership skills.
