PROJECT MANAGER: LIMITED ENERGY

Collins has a career-building opportunity for a responsible, detail-oriented project manager interested in overseeing low-voltage electrical construction projects from initial estimate through completion.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Estimate projects and prepare proposals for customers seeking structured wiring, security, card access, fire alarm, and other low-voltage systems.
  • Develop budgets, acquire materials and track project costs to fulfill contractual obligations, ensuring projects are within budget and profitable.
  • Plan, oversee and direct work to assure successful project completion and satisfied customers.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain project schedule and communicate relevant information to appropriate parties.
  • Lead, manage and hold accountable field employees.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships.
  • Assure safety protocols are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years low-voltage project management experience.
  • Knowledge of the low voltage industry and technologies.
  • Exceptional communicator (both verbal and written) and problem-solver.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, email and website navigation; intermediate to advanced experience with Excel. Must have aptitude to learn new technology easily.
  • Thorough, accurate and organized worker, who can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Financial aptitude to effectively estimate projects, track job costs and manage financial resources.
  • Knack for working effectively with diverse individuals, both internally and externally, and resolving conflicts or concerns as they arise.
  • Dependable, reliable and responsible team player.
  • Ability to work on phone and computer for extended periods of time and outside of standard business hours when necessary.
