PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with business leaders and internal experts to develop and implement Collins-specific training programs that enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Maintain and continuously improve training curriculum and career development resources.
- Establish structured yet flexible learning frameworks that promote continuous growth across the organization.
- Facilitate the creation of field leadership development programs to ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Assist with creating career roadmaps to help employees understand their growth opportunities within Collins.
- Support individual development plans that align personal aspirations with company needs.
- Support identification of key roles, future leadership needs and high-potential employees to proactively address talent gaps.
- Assist with transition planning for leadership changes and retirements to maintain business continuity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in training, workforce development, coaching or talent management.
- Basic understanding of the construction, electrical or skilled trades industry (a plus, but not required).
- Ability to design, manage and execute structured programs while remaining flexible to business needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both field and office employees.
- A self-starter with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
